Our Y aims to improve the community's health and well-being by providing programs and activities that promote wellness, reduce risk of disease, and help others reclaim their health.   

 

 

SMALL GROUP TRAINING

High intensity strength and endurance classes. These classes include weights and cardio to improve your heart, muscles, and mindset. With the small group training you get the socialization while also getting the personalization that you wouldn't get from a regular group fitness class.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday. 8:45AM-9:45AM

Members $60 / Non-Members $80
Annual: Members Only $650 (Only valid during January)

 

-For Men

Monday, Wednesday, Friday. 12:00PM-1:00PM
 

Members $70/ Non-Members $90
Annual: Members Only $750 (Only valid during January)


WOMEN ON WEIGHTS

Intimidated by the weight room? Are you afraid of lifting weights because you don't want to bulk up? This female-focused class will introduce you to the weight room and weightlifting-techniques that will help you meet your specific goals. This is a great training option to pair with a cardio workout. A Certified Personal Trainer will instruct you on proper form, technique, and a variety of lifts for each muscle group. This program will help you to become more comfortable and confident training in the free weight area of the Wellness Center. Class sizes are limited.

Tuesday, Thursday. 6:30PM-7:30PM

MOVE2LOSE

In this program, you will exercise in a small group with a trainer twice a week for 10 weeks, but that's not all! During your sessions (20 total) you will be provided with 5 nutrition classes, exercises catered to your specific needs and abilities, as well as a variety of take-home exercises and team support. You will receive a t-shirt and weekly newsletters to update you on how teams are doing at your Y. Valuable prizes are awarded to teams with the highest percentage of weight loss across the Dayton Y association. Enroll today to reach your fitness goals and begin your path to wellness!
